Everlasting

Lord, You have been our dwelling place
in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed
the earth and the world,
Even from EVERLASTING to EVERLASTING,
You are God.
Psalm 90:1-2

When I was younger there was always something about visiting the Great Smoky Mountains or the
Atlantic ocean or the Great Lakes that made my problems seem small in comparison with all that our Heavenly Father has planned.

This is so true. We are so very small. But God can make us big!

That's such a peaceful picture....a cup of tea or coffee and the view of the mountains in the distance. A lovely post tonight, Karen. : )

Thank you for sharing the beautiful Psalm this morning. I feel the same way when visiting the mountains or ocean. We have rain this morning. We have been fortunate to have such clear, mild weather the last 2 weeks. I wish you a good day. xo

It is good for us to get away now and then and to put things into perspective as we relax and enjoy new vistas and experiences. I find that God is often better able to get through to me in those moments. Thank you for sharing this with us. I love the picture of the cup on the porch overlooking the mountains. I can just feel the cool mountain air on a chilly morning...Would love to be there!! Have a blessed day.

Karen, We are small and loved so greatly. We need our Lord with us daily and only have to ask. I pray for Him to be with me everyday. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

You are so right...and even when I get focused on my problems, they are so much smaller than most of the world's problems.

Hi Karen,
my husband and myself have been to many places around the world, mainly by sea as I do not like flying, and what always comes into my mind is 'It is a fool who says 'there is no God'. Creation is absolutely amazing, and what Jesus has done to reconcile us back to the Father is beyond belief to the carnal mind.
God bless you for sharing your lovely pics and scriptures.

Yes, in the grand scheme of things, our problems seem insignificant.

It is amazing as to how large the world is out there compare to our own living area. I am a sucker for seeing the cup on the rail, more coffee please.
