We enjoyed the story of Pollyanna
who liked to play the Glad Game.
"If God took the time to tell us 800 times to
be glad and rejoice
He must expect us to do it some!"
We looked for a rainbow after the thunder shower and didn't see one, but my granddaughter showed me how to make a rainbow using a CD to reflect the afternoon sun on white paper. Then we went to the play ground and a robin scolded Kaedyn, but she was glad that it caused her to notice the nest of blue eggs hidden in the climbing tower. Now we watch each day to see if they have hatched.

So glad that you two enjoy your afternoons together. Fun to make the rainbow and then to find the bright blue bird eggs. Joy is in the simple things! God bless your night. Love you.
Sounds like a lovely afternoon with your granddaughter. I'm "glad" for you. I know it brings joy to your heart.
How cool is that paper rainbow. What a special time you had with Kaedyn and the Robin's blue eggs. The Robin is such a special bird and doesn't get scared like the other birds. Isn't it something that its eggs are blue? Thanks for the reminder that there are so many things to be glad about, Karen.

It sounds like that was time well spent for you and your granddaughter. I love the movie Pollyanna.
I am glad you enjoyed the time with your granddaughter. The rainbow reflection is too kool! Love blue birds and their eggs are so pretty.
Now that is fun...a paper rainbow, robin's nest eggs, special time together with your granddaughter...such a blessing...
Try to get a photo of the birds when they hatch, if you can. Love the paper rainbow.

Love your rainbow and what a treat to find a nest. They must figure one will listen to their scolding and stay away.If you put a shelf under an eve they will build fast.
Seek and you shall find. It appears that what we look for will become what we have. You and your granddaughter looked for joy and found happiness. So many are looking for other things that do not bring this joy we have in Christ. When our thoughts turn sour, it is best to add some honey from the Word of God, Perhaps the 91st Psalm is a good place to dwell for awhile.
