The Love of God

May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Ephesians 3:16-19
Could we with ink the ocean fill.
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill.
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Though stretched from sky to sky.

The Love of God song is so powerful and beautiful. Haven't heard it for some time, but was it George Beverly Shay who sang it at the Billy Graham Crusades?
Happy New Year to you Karen and your family too.

Such truths in these verses! More and more I realise how little I know of the depths and heights of God's love!

A very beautiful post. Are you staying warm. We have about 5 days in a row where the high temp is below freezing and the wind is strong.
