This cardinal shot is wonderful! Just perfect, the way his beautiful wings are spread. In the deep winter, they are the only colorful thing around here. The other day we saw a blue jay, he had lost a lot of color and was fluffed up and dismal from the cold.
As there are no cardinals in the UK, I always love to see photos other bloggers share of their cardinals! Your photos is amazing! Thanks for the encouragement in the Lord too!
Be still my heart.....a pair of red cardinals! I bet that was such a pleasant surprise to see them outside your bedroom window. These are special words on encouraging others, and I want to thank you for all the encouraging words you post on your blog, and also for the positive thoughts you leave on my blog.
Have a blessed week, Karen.

Lovely shot of the cardinal. Yes, encouraging and supporting one another is very important.
I couldnt agree more Karen, encouraging others is a gift that we all need to give to others. The cardinal is beautiufl...so bright on these cold, gloomy days.
Your blog shares such great advice. I have not seen cardinals in our area. Your shot is wonderful as a header.
That red cardinal in the header photo-- magnificent!
So true about prayer....so true.
Hi Karen,
I agree, I am so thankful for our blog friendship. The encouragement from my blog friends has helped me so much. It is a blessing to have friendships like we do in the blog land.

Hi Karen,
it is lovely what you have shared, both the words and the picture. God's beauty is reflected in both.
so true, we all need to be lifted up at times and even friends from the internet can lift our spirits just like a bright red bird on a wire. i went to the river this week and in 10 minutes felt my spirits lifted
We all have a life journey, and how much easier would it be if we all did show love and kindness in each others burdens. Great post Karen.
There is something about a cardinal in the cold winter that just lifts my spirits. God is so good to give us beauty in each season.
Even birds help each other, and we can learn so much from the study of birds. Love your photo of the Red Cardinal. May God grant you a day of rejoicing and bring results from all your prayers.
She is a beautiful girl and so sweet too! You are blessed!!
