When I was young, I remember my Dad stressing to me the importance of finishing a job. "Washing dishes" meant washing, drying, putting them away, cleaning the sink, table, counters, sweeping, and most importantly - refilling the ice trays. I can still hear him calling me back to the kitchen, "Karen, come finish your job!"
I can trust my Heavenly Father to finish the job He began in me. My prayer is that I will cooperate!
I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:6

Hello,
I have always been one to finish a job. Nice memory of your father and a great post. Enjoy your day and weekend. I wish you all the best in 2019, a very Happy New Year!
I pray to finish the job and look for His return.
That is a fun memory. Finish what you start is something I can remember hearing when growing up too.
Your dad taught you a valuable lesson, Karen. So many today don't finish the job they started, always leaving things behind for someone else to finish. So, I appreciate this post so much, and will even pass it along to my kids. : )
The sunrise/sunset Header is beautiful.

We were blessed with a dad who taught by example. Such a beautiful verse and song.
Love your header Karen.
A good memory about your Dad, which my dear Dad also said.
All the best Jan
