Famous hymn writer Fanny Crosby, who became blind at the age of 6 weeks, memorized 5 chapters of the Bible each week when she was a child. God's Word in her heart enabled her to become a beloved hymn writer, and she continued to write until her death at 94.

She was an amazing woman and the author of so many beloved hymns.
And what a blessing she has been to countless thousands of people throughout the ages! I wonder what she would have done with her life if she had not been blind? We might never have heard of her or her amazing hymns. Oftentimes things that we think are so bad turn out to be something amazing, when God is in it!! Thank you for this story today.
