Judges 5:31b God's Word
I remember singing this song as a child in Sunday School.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam
I'll be a sunbeam for him.
I have a friend, Carolyn, who has faithfully served our church for many years. She has cerebral palsy.

As she ages, her health and skills are failing, yet she always has a bright smile and a word of encouragement for others. She is surely one of Jesus' sunbeams.

often those who are hurting or disabled or ill make better sunbeams than the rest of us.. I remember that song also
Oh- there are people that are God's sunbeams the whole of their lives, aren't there? Blessings to you today, Karen. xo Diana

Oh, yes, "I'll be a sunbeam for Him". What a wonderful post. Even when one is disabled, they can still be a "sunbeam" for Jesus. How marvelous. Thank you for warming our hearts today.

Your friend, Carolyn, sounds wonderful. I have a blog friend who has cerebral palsy as well. What a special verse this is today, and it got to me, as I love watching the sun rise. : )

Your posting is a sunbeam too. It isn't easy to relate to those with such hardships but it is easy to see God working in their lives. Beautiful photo
