Summer Visits

Lightning bugs, June bugs, bumble bees, butterflies, and humming birds.
Yes, summertime visitors are here!
I am enjoying the longer days, the sunshine and gentle breezes, and visits from my granddaughters.
The girls love spotting birds in the back yard. My neighbor has a humming bird feeder on her patio.

We came across this old photo of Cameron and me visiting them when Kaedyn was newborn and sisters were 10 and 6. Now they are 18, 14, and 7..
Seems like they don't stay little very long!

I'll let you in on the sweet old truths,
Stories we heard from our fathers,
counsel we learned at our mother's knee.
We're not keeping this to ourselves,
we're passing it along to the next generation—
God's fame and fortune,
the marvelous things he has done.
Psalm 78:2-4 Message

Loving the summer flowers, puffy clouds and birds and bees. So happy that Kaedyn has a yard to play in now. This is a sweet photo; the years just fly by!
Wishing you a lovely afternoon.
Thank you for sharing the verse.

Hi Karen,
your summertime sounds idyllic, ours at the moment is very hot and humid. We have been over to our son's place in Ireland where it was much cooler. I love the humming bird, and the picture of your family is lovely - what a lovely name your youngest grandchild has.

Yes, they do grow up in the blink of an eye! Your hummingbird picture is wonderful!!! You just don't see ones this good, as they move so quickly. Sharp, clear, and beautiful.

What a sweet family photo. Summer is officially here--although it has been hot enough to feel like summer for quite a while now!

You have my most beloved bird on here, Karen. Yes, the bees and butterflies are out, and the lizards as well, Yikes. It's nice to see a picture of you with the grandkids. It is getting so hot here, in the 100's today.

Have a lovely week, Karen.
