Take it to the Lord in prayer
Our church's prayer garden, where I love to walk in the evening.
Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let's not let it slip through our fingers. We don't have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He's been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let's walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

It seems so difficult at times to trust God with our lives. I think we all fall into fear and control issues, which lead us away from faith and trust in our Savior...we want to take care of it ourselves, thus, thinking we are more capable than God...to me, that amounts to pride, and we know how God feels about that. I like your last sentence...take the mercy, accept the help...translates to "humble yourself before the Lord".
Good words to think on and live by.
Blessings,
Mary
I can relate totally...it seems those big steps of faith are when God really shows His majesty and glory...and I have regrets for ever doubting....
I can certainly relate to that, Dear. Thanks for the encouragement.
So many time I will say the same prayer over and over, then I realize that I never really gave him my worries, I held on just enough. I sleep so much better now that I truly gave it all to him.
Thank-you for your post today.
God Bless,
Ginger
Praying financial blessings over you dear.
Thank you all for your comments and prayers!
The prayer garden looks like a lovely place to walk and seek comfort.
Thank you for the inspiration! We forget to give it our Lord. We try so hard to control. We must give it to Him!
Thank you for the reminders.
