Refreshing Breeze

The Lord is my shepherd.
I shall not want.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.

Yesterday was a scorcher here, but in the evening, a refreshing shower rolled in, and the temperature dropped 27 degrees. I had a nice visit with my 87 year old neighbor on the porch.

We had some hot, muggy temps yesterday too but with some nice refreshing rain in the evening. It does make a big difference. Have a blessed day.

I love 'porch-sitting' especially when it's shared with friends and family.

I love evening rain showers and cool breezes. So happy you have rocking chairs on that big porch to enjoy. Are the birds still active?

Your header and background are absolutely GORGEOUS! It is always such a pleasure to visit and see what beauty you have. I miss having a porch. We have been in the middle of a heat wave.

It reached 100 here yesterday afternoon. It's in the 80's today. Still hot but not as oppressive. Visiting your neighbor on the porch sounds delightful!

I wish we had a front porch. We can sit on the patio when our friends come over, so that is pleasant, but it is getting too hot now. Sitting on the front porch sounds good. Would like to see some more rain.

Karen, the evening rain must have cooled the weather down a bit. How wonderful that you had a nice visit with your neighbor. I just saw my 70 year old friend today and we visited for awhile. We can learn many things from the elderly. Your pink design is cheerful today.

We had this cooling shower this evening...just as I was grilling pork chops! But my grill is off the edge of the porch so I can stay on the porch and grill.

Psalm 23 can be very calming for me...

It is nice that it cooled down. I try to talk to people as much as possible and I found they are really lonely out there and they do like to visit. I had a great visit with the young gardener at the hospice the other day and I think if it were possible we could have become great gardener friends.
