Evening, and morning, and at noon,
will I pray,
and cry aloud:
and he shall hear my voice.
Psalm 55:17

Granddaugher Kaedyn spent the day with me this week. She wanted to read from the Bible the story of how Daniel prayed to God three times a day, even when it was against the king's decree. She is attending a reading enrichment class this summer and her big sister Kye is the assistant teacher. Kye plans to major in education.

A great goal for Kye. I often wish I had gotten into elementary ed as a teacher instead of nursing. I'm glad you were able to spend the day with your grand daughter!

I am so happy when children love to read. Asking to read the story of Daniel was so precious.

It's wonderful that you spend so much time with Kaedyn, Karen. This is such a cute picture of her with the rainbow umbrella. And how special that she wants to read from the Bible already. She sounds like a thoughtful and very special little girl.

How blessed your days was. and hers as well...I always wish I had had a grandmother I was special, too...I feel like I missed out on something in life. I make up for it with Lorelei, though...

Kaedyn's smile is so sweet.
