He Arose!

My favorite hymn for Resurrection Sunday!

Up from the grave He arose
With a mighty triumph o'er His foes.
He arose a victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah Christ arose!

Oh Yes!!!! He Arose! He Arose! Hallelujah! Christ Arose!!!! I LOVE singing this song...slowly at first..."Low in the grave He lay, Jesus my Savior...to wait the coming day, Jesus, my Lord." and then we sing with great joy and gusto: "Up from the grave He arose!! With a mighty triumph o'er His foes!!!" etc....I LOVE this song. Thank you for making me think about it and sing it right now, even on Good Friday!!! It may be Good Friday, but Easter's coming!!!

Hi Karen, Your header pictures are so pretty and I love the illustration for your blog post, too. That is a favorite hymn of mine, too. I can just hear some of our old friends singing that beside us in church!
Love you - happy Easter.

I also love that old hymn. Christ is alive -Praise his holy name. Another favorite is "He Lives, Christ Jesus lives today, and He walks with me and He talks with me along life's narrow way." Thank you for visiting my blog and for your sweet comment. God is by my side and He does indeed walk with me.
