Hosanna

The blind and the lame came to Jesus in the temple, and He healed them. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became indignant and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?” And Jesus said to them, “Yes; have you never read, Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies You have prepared praise for Yourself’?”
Matthew 21:14-16 NASB

WOW! This could be quite convicting. Kind of goes along with the verses in Matthew 6 where Jesus says to not let our charitable deeds be known...and He uses this to condemn the hypocrites who like to do their charitable deeds before men. VERY good post, Karen.

That is right Karen,
the high ups in the temple did not praise Jesus, but the young who were without titles did.

Oh to have the faith of a little child again! To be free to sing "Hosanna!" without fear of others looking askance at our exuberance. Yes, I long to be free as a little child again....sometimes I truly do act like a child...and I know Jesus loves me either way. Thank you for this lovely post today. Hosanna! Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord!!
