Little Things

I  gave my first granddaughter a talking/singing Winnie the Pooh for Valentine's Day when she was less than two years old. She loved that bear so much, and she still has it 16 years later.

My youngest granddaughter stays with me after school, and she loves to set the table for a snack when she comes in. She is very fond of this glass I got her. She looks forward to my iced tea and homemade cookies.

She made this little valentine for me.

So happy that you and Kaedyn share such sweet times together. I love the Valentine she made you and her special glass is perfect for tea time with Nana. How special that K has the Winnie you got her.
I remember you buying me a saphire ring when you were in college and how special that was to me. I eventually gifted that to K, also.

Awww Karen...you are such a good grandmother! Reading about your youngest granddaughter coming to your house after school and her snack she has brought back memories of when my own kids were young. How sweet that your first granddaughter still has her teddy that you gave her 16 years ago!

What a sweet gesture that your granddaughter sets the table for a snack when she comes in and visits you. And I bet the other granddaughter treasures the Winnie the Pooh bear that you gave her. :)
