Majestic Sweetness

This old hymn really blessed me this morning. I struggle with sadness in January because my son was so very sick and then died on January 28. Even though it was 21 years ago, I still miss him, but I know he is with Jesus, so I love the thought that Jesus is ''majestic sweetness". Caleb's weak heart gave out, so I cherish the phrase: "Had I a thousands hearts to give, Lord, they should all be Thine."
Maybe there is someone else that this hymn will encourage today. (The nature photos are pretty.)

Oh Karen, I am so sorry! There is really nothing worse to go through. Your blog is so beautiful, and Phil knows this hymn. This is a gorgeous tribute to your son.

I have never heard that old hymn before. It is beautiful.
I don't think we ever get over missing our children if we lose them. To lose a child goes against the nature of things. I am so sorry, Karen. Bless you and know that you will see him again someday. xo Diana

Karen, you have been such a dear heart here in the blog world. It is because of the wonderful folks such as you that I have come back to blog. The world is full of meanness and I want to spread kindness and honor God.
I can never imagine the sadness of the loss of losing a child. But you have given your sorrow to God and now I see why you have this beautiful blog and how you honor Jesus here. Your kind heart is so beautiful and I am so happy I was drawn here today.
Thank you for sharing your son with us. It is a joy for me to be here with you today. I wish you much love and many hugs during this difficult month.
