September Morning in Indiana

I like this time of year when there are still summer flowers and warm days, but I enjoy discovering hints of autumn and signs of the changing season.

Emily Dickinson wrote about the beauty and meaning in ordinary day to day experiences. She said, "To live is so startling, it leaves little time for anything else."

Pretty photos. That is such a majestic tree. When I first saw your title, I thought of mother's favorite, Neil Diamond, singing September Morn!!!

Beautiful ... usually Wisconsin has a frost by now, not this year. Green and everything is still growing. :-)

I agree that is an interesting time of year when the two seasons begin to merge. Your photos capture it beautifully. I can feel autumn in the air as I look at them.
