Secure

Yesterday we had a thunderstorm and strong wind, knocking down a huge limb across the driveway, but when I went for a walk this morning, I saw this nest still secure in a nearby tree.
I remembered this verse in Psalm 61:4
I shall live forever in Your tabernacle.
Oh, to be safe beneath the shelter of Your wings!

Remembering the victims of 9/11/01 today.

Lovely picture, and I like the verse you chose to accompany it too.

I'm glad that the nest survived the wind and storm, Karen. God looks out for all his creatures, great and small.

Amazing it is still there. Looks fragile, but it must be built strong.

I have always thought birds and squirrels build the most amazing nests to stay safe in the Texas winds and storms here. Beautiful pic and scripture.

It is hanging in there. Snow will not be good for it.

So beautiful...and such a poignant reminder of our place in the shelter of God's wings. What a wonderful memorial for 9-11.
