Precious Memory

"Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed
in the whole world,
what she has done will also be told in memory of her."
Matthew 26:13

This alabaster jar
Is all I have of worth
I break it at your feet, Lord
It's less than you deserve
You're far more beautiful
More precious than the oil
The sum of my desires
And the fullness of my joy!

Blessings Karen...What a beautiful depiction of Jesus and the woman anointing His feet, cleansing them... tears of repentance and such beauty in His love! This act of faith and love was so remarkable, that it would be reported, as a memorial of Mary's faith and love, to all future ages, and in all places where the gospel should be preached. This prophecy is fulfilled. Thank you for sharing this WORD of humility & a true servant heart!

Let us bow before Him as we celebrate His Resurrection power!

May your week be holy and may you enJOY a blessed Resurrection Sunday!

How meaningful that this unknown, insignificant woman who did what was in her heart to honor Jesus is known throughout the world for her actions of love for Him.

Thanks for sharing!

Have a blessed Easter!

Beautiful post. I love your blog background too. We saw a flock of little yellow birds snacking on some flowers earlier. Hope you have a pleasant evening and a nice weekend.
