HUDSON RIVER

Englishman Henry Hudson was searching for a quick route to China as he sailed along our north Atlantic coast in 1609. Hudson thought he had found it when he sailed into New York bay. He could not have imagined that someday this river would be named for him, and in these 300 square miles would live over 8.5 million people from all over the world.

My son Cameron is enjoying his new position ministering at a church in New Jersey. He is also amazed at all there is to see in New York City. Above is his photo of the Hudson River last night as he was driving home after the Friday night Bible study.

Karen, I loved the picture your son took . Glad he is enjoying his new post. I was thinking of the Hudson today, after seeing a clip of Tom Hanks playing Sully, the airline pilot who landed his plane in the Hudson. :):) Hope you are having a great evening. It rained again here. Bless you, xoxo, Susie
