I also learned to type on a manual typewriter, Karen, and I can still hear the tap tap tap sound of the keys in my head. I sure miss the "olden days." There's a lot of good things to be said about them. :)~Sheri
LOL!I saw a bumper sticker today that said, "what if the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about??" lol
Makes me feel old,Oh wait I am old.Hope you had a good day.
Me too. We really thought we were something being able to type. And really, when you stop to think about it, it was an accomplishment to type with those things and not get the keys all stick together!
I remember how hard it was for me to get used to an electric typewriter! I was working at Sears in Atlanta. Remember when we had to know ABC order to file paperwork!
Ha! So true!!Carla
P.S.I learned how to type on a manual typewriter and we had a rotary phone.:-))
WE have certainly come a long way:) I use my calculator on my phone ALL the time! Have a blessed day dear Karen, HUGS!
Me too! I typed my term paper on a typewriter. Not even an electric one. Hand held calculators were not on the market until I was married.
