Praying for the Persecuted Church

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint and weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength.
Isaiah 40:28-29

I am praying for those who are imprisoned for their faith in Jesus. I was reading 2 Timothy, Paul's last letter, where he writes that even though he is in prison and facing execution, the Word of God is not in chains. I pray that the Lord will encourage the hearts of men and women like Saeed Abedini.

It is so sad to see people persecuted for living what they believe in.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Karen. xo Diana

The time has come that we need to draw closer to God's words. The world and America are turning from Gods ways.

Amen! We know so little of the people, mostly in foreign countries who are being killed or persecuted for their faith in God, but I'm sure there are many.

Our sister church has a wonderful prison ministry. They get pen pals for the prisoners. And my friend has helped some of the women to adjust as they get out.
