Christmas Past and Present

When I was a teen, our youth group went up and down the streets of town Christmas caroling, wearing our royal blue choir robes over our wool coats. We especially made an effort to visit older folks. Now I guess I am officially one of the older folks!....So a group of us went caroling in our neighborhood last weekend. In our group of carolers, we had people from China, Korea, Russia and Egypt. It was beautiful to hear the carols sung in different languages.

The sights and sounds of the season brighten a lot of faces. It's fun to think back on the excitement of being a child at Christmas.

What a wonderful experience... Both the past and the present! When I was a teenager our youth group used a school bus with big speakers mounted on the roof to Christmas Carol. We sang on the bus, stopping at homes of elderly members...it was so much fun!
Hope your Christmas Day was very special!
