City of Fountains

I learned this week that Kansas City, Missouri, the city of fountains, has more fountains than any other city except for Rome, Italy. On Labor Day, I hope to tour the downtown area and see some of the most unique fountains. The one pictured above is in Grandview.

I love the sound of the rushing water, and on a day like today, at 99 degrees, the spray from the fountain felt pretty good!

How pretty! I know you will enjoy visiting the fountains. There is a fountain in our nearby town of Lula for the children to run and play in on hot summer days. They have a blast!

Who ever would have guessed that about the number of fountains?!! 99 degrees?!!! I am so sorry for you for that. We have barely seen those temps this summer which is unusual for us.
