Jesus is the Way

It seems that in America, some are embarrassed to acknowledge our Creator God or His Son, Jesus Christ. Is there any other God who is a God of love? Is there any other Savior who willingly laid down His life for us?

"The Message that points to Christ on the Cross seems like sheer silliness to those hellbent on destruction, but for those on the way of salvation it makes perfect sense. This is the way God works, and most powerfully as it turns out. It's written,

I'll turn conventional wisdom on its head,
I'll expose so-called experts as crackpots.

So where can you find someone truly wise, truly educated, truly intelligent in this day and age? Hasn't God exposed it all as pretentious nonsense? Since the world in all its fancy wisdom never had a clue when it came to knowing God, God in his wisdom took delight in using what the world considered dumb—preaching, of all things!—to bring those who trust him into the way of salvation."
1 Corinthians 1:18-21 Message

Lord, I pray that we will wake up to the fact that You first loved us and gave yourself for us. May we once again welcome you for You are worthy of praise and honor. May we never be ashamed to name the name that is above all names - Jesus.
Jesus said ,
"I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father but through me.

Amen. That is a beautiful video/song.

p.s. hearing the trumpets within the video, I think of Sarah Ann's son and his talent and testimony thru his music. He plays his dad's trumpet in church often.

Amen to that.

We are like salt when we mention the name of Jesus, and ....salt is an irritant. A friend of mine mentioned that to me one day.

Have a Jesus filled day! Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus. I love Him so. : ) ~amelia

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the power of God to salvation. He is our Hope!

I really like the arrangement of that song. Our pastor has been commenting frequently in his sermons that those of us who believe and profess Jesus will be experiencing persecution within a few years. I pray we have courage to stand.
