Jesus said:
"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
Luke 22:31-32 NASB

Thank you for this post. God's blessings to you
Amen.
It's so amazing how God works, weaving His word into our lives! This was the text of the sermon we heard on Sunday - and one of my favorite sayings of Jesus. It means so much to know that Jesus prays for me. I learned something new about the fact that Jesus called Peter's name twice. In His day this showed one's sympathy and compassion for the person spoken to. Other examples are "Martha, Martha . . ." and "Jerusalem, Jerusalem . . ." Knowing that makes the Scripture even more meaningful.
I enjoyed listening to this song.
I was looking for a new blog background and came to see where you got yours, you always have such nice ones.
Have a good day!

Oh Karen, if only we were "on guard" more often!
HE has promised to be our Shield, and if we will run to HIM, we will be safe!
I'm FINALLY writing the book that GOD has called me to write. Prayers always appreciated.
