After Jesus ascended to Heaven, his disciples were ordered by the authorities not to speak or teach another word about the name of Jesus.
The disciples prayed:
"Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with all boldness they may speak your word, by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy servant Jesus."
When they had prayed their meeting-place was shaken; they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the Word of God fearlessly.

Father God,
As you open up more and more opportunities for us to testify of Your goodness and grace, may we speak the name of Jesus and the Word of God fearlessly.
